Stone ejectors within the grooves force out rocks and other debris for consistent traction, and the Open Country AT3's extra lateral grooves further boost traction on any surface, while 3D multi-wave sipes enhance traction in wet and snowy weather.

According to Toyo, the new tread compound and designs provide improved wet braking and handling; cut-and-chip resistance; excellent off-road grip; and delivers a quite, comfortable ride.
The tire's staggered shoulder lugs with biting edges enhance off-road traction, the tire maker said. Its 3-dimensional multi-wave sipes enhance wet and snow traction and reduce irregular wear, Toyo said, while its stone-ejecting blocks eject stones from grooves.
The tire will be available in 70 SKUs at launch, fitting 15- to 20-inch rim diameters. The tire maker expects to have 127 SKUs in its portfolio by early summer.
The tire comes with up to a 65,000-mile limited treadwear warranty (and a 50,000-mile limited treadwear warranty for light-truck sizes)
